The face behind ‘Blogs with Fidele’​

You’re probably wondering who is Fidele?

That’s me. Let me introduce myself. My name’s Fidele and I’m a student at De Montfort University studying English Language and Journalism. Growing up, I always had a passion for literacy and writing. From a young age, I always knew that whatever I did in life would be related to writing. When I went through my Jacqueline Wilson phase (if you know, you know) I wanted to be an author, when I got to highschool I wanted to be a teacher and now I’m on the pathway to becoming a journalist.  

So what makes me.. me? My ethnicity plays a huge role in who I am - I’m Congolese and Angolan. I also grew up in a religious household and my faith (Christianity) is something that’s extremely important to me. Without God, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I think highly of my family and friends and without their encouragement, I wouldn’t have had the confidence to pursue my blogs, so thanks guys! :)  

So yeah, that pretty much sums me up in a nutshell. I look forward to sharing my  blogs with you all.
